2022 : Zaid Ashar         (North Region)
            Albany County

Zaid Ashar was chosen in the North Region. Zaid resides with his family in Cohoes, New York which is located in Albany County. He is a senior at the Shaker High School located in Latham, New York. Zaid’s educational plan is to major in pre-medicine/ biology, neuroscience or radiology technology. He is active at his high school with several clubs and teams and still found time to volunteer in his community in a number of ways including serving as a junior firefighter with the Verdoy Fire Department. Chief Corey Friedman of his fire department credits Zaid with recruiting his father to join the fire department after he began serving.







 




2022 : Kimberly Angelletta      (Eastern Region)
Nassau County

Kimberly Angelletta was chosen in the Eastern Region. Kimberly resides with her family in Levittown, New York which is located in Nassau County. She is a senior at Division High School located in Levittown, New York.  Her educational plan is to seek a degree in veterinary medicine/ animal science. She is active at her high school with several clubs and teams and still found time to volunteer in her community in a number of ways including serving as junior cadet with the Levittown Volunteer Fire Department and serving an American Red Cross Association.

2022 : Sara Bischoping      (Western Region)
Monroe County

Sara Bischoping was chosen in the West Region. Sara resides with her family in Rush, New York which is located in Monroe County. She is a senior at Rush-Henrietta Senior High School located in Henrietta, New York. Sara’s educational plan is to seek a degree in nursing. She is active at her high school with several clubs and teams.
Sara is active in Many community organizations.
