OUR MISSION

The Association of Fire Districts of the State of New York, a not-for-profit corporation, works to improve the fiscal responsibility, efficiency and effectiveness of the fire district management through education, training and advocacy for commissioners and other fire district officials in the 57 counties outside of the City of New York.

74th Annual Meeting: 2017-2018 President & Officers Elected

During the 74th Annual Meeting and Spring Conference of the AFDSNY held April 21st in Albany, New York; the membership elected and installed the Associations 2017-2018 officers. In addition, newly and reelected regional directors were also sworn in during the annual meeting.

Elected Officers were:

President: Thomas J. Rinaldi
1st Vice President: Frederick Senti, Jr
2nd Vice President: Kenneth Preston
Board of Directors from Regions 1,3,5,7,and 9

The Association's leadership wants to thank all of the Fire District officials who attended this year’s 74th Annual Meeting and Spring Conference.. The Officers and Directors are excited to have been given the opportunity to continue to serve the association with the same energy and effort that is needed to promote our association mission, to create stronger connections among members and to continue to be one of New York State State’s premier associations.
